The Otis-Lennon School Ability Test (4th-12 grade), grade level testing by FCS teacher for K-3rd grade is a requirement for admission.  After you have completed the online application then it is time to set up testing.  Applicants are required to provide the following:

  • Current report card/or official high school transcript (if applicable)
  • Most recent achievement test scores (if applicable)
  • One teacher recommendation for Pre-school through 6th grade
  • Two teacher recommendations (Math and English) 7th through 12th grade
  • Copy of social security card
  • Copy of birth certificate
  • Official Tennessee Immunization Record
  • Legal custodial documentation (if applicable)

A personal interview is required of all middle school and high school applicants.  

When all the requirements listed above are fulfilled, the applicant’s application for admission goes before the school’s admission committee for review.

..................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................ACCEPTANCE PRIORITY POLICY:

1st Priority:  Returning students whose re-enrollment forms have been received by the re-enrollment deadline have first priority in the succeeding grade level.

2nd Priority:  New student applicants who apply by the re-enrollment deadline and have siblings living in the same household who are currently enrolled and have re-enrolled for the next school year.

3rd Priority:  New student applications are considered after the re-enrollment deadline for currently enrolled FCS students.  All required admissions documents and fees must be received before the application will be considered by the Admissions Committee.
